As showcased recently on the Oprah Winfrey Show and in the headlines of the Charlotte Observer, we now offer the Thermage® Procedure. This is a non surgical procedure developed to help the signs of aging skin. Using the ThermaCool TC^™ system, radiofrequency energy is applied to the skin. This causes contraction of the underlying collagen as well as production of new collagen. In this manner, the tissue is noticeably tightened. The effect is seen immediately, with additional benefit continuing over the next 4-6 months. The procedure typically, takes only 1-3 hours depending on the area to be covered, and requires only minor sedation. Patients may return to their regular activities immediately after the procedure.
