Piedmont Obstetrics and Gynecology

Cheryl Arnold graduated from Riverside-White Cross School of Nursing in Ohio and was certified by the National Certification Corporation for Obstetric, Gynecology and Neonatal Specialists in 1981.  She had practiced in Ohio, Michigan, and South Carolina prior to coming to Hickory in 1996.  She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and an Associate Member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. 

Nancy Sciara received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida and worked many years in high-risk obstetrics.  She received her Master's Degree in Parent-Child Nursing from the University of Tennessee in 1990.  Since receiving her certification as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Nurse Practitioner, she has worked in St. Louis, Missouri and Boone, North Carolina.  She is a member of the  Association of  Women's Health in Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing.  She resides in Blowing Rock with her husband and two children.
