Welcome to Piedmont Obstetrics and Gynecology, our practice is devoted to the total care of today's woman.  We offer family planning, routine and high-risk obstetrics, and all facets of gynecologic care; including infertility, hormonal imbalances, menopause, bladder incontinence and interstitial cystitis care.

Our physicians are all board certified and extremely well trained in every aspect of gynecologic surgery.  They are adept at laparoscopic surgery, laser surgery, microscopic surgery, da Vinci Robotic surgery, bladder incontinence surgery and even surgery for female malignancies.  State-of-the-art healthcare in a supportive environment is our goal here at Piedmont OB GYN.  There is no need to travel long distances in order to have the best.

Your physician has sent your Pap specimen to LabCorp for analysis.  As a convenience to you, LabCorp offers a Pap Test Patient Information Service that allows you to check on the status of your Pap specimen.

You can get your pap smear results through the Lab Corp system using on-line or a toll-free telephone number if you provided the office with a social security number.  If there is any question on the result, the lab will send us the result and we will contact you with the results and any follow-up plans. In most cases we will call you or send you a letter in 3-10 days with an abnormal lab result.

Website address:  www.Labcorp.com/patientinfo       Phone number:  888-567-8723

To access the Pap Test Patient Infromation Service:

1.  Call 888-567-8723 or go to www.LabCorp.com/patientinfo 10 or more business days after your Pap specimen has been collected.  Both options are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Carefully follow the system prompt instructions as provided.

2.  When prompted, please enter your nine-digit Social Security number.

3.  When prompted, please enter your six-digit date of birth.  For example, a date of birth of January 5, 1960 would be entered as 010560.

4.  You will be prompted to enter the date of your Pap specimen was collected.  Please enter the six-digit collection date.  For example, a collection date of March 5, 2009 would be entered as 030509.  If all three pieces of information are entered correctly, the system will respond with the status of your Pap specimen.

Please note that LabCorp does not offer medical advice and your results will be available for 90 days following the date of collection.  If you cannot get your results, please call the office.
